About Us
Mothership is a community of mums and people who want to shape a better present and future for the kids.
It was founded by Jessie Brinton, a climate organiser, former journalist and mum, and has been supported in its development by countless organisers, innovators and creatives, not to mention the generations of teachers on whose shoulders we stand, and to whom we’ll always be grateful.
Thank you to the European Climate Foundation.
The world’s never needed its mum like it does right now.
What’s it all about?
There’s something inside each of us, a superpower we’ve been discouraged from using. It’s called mother energy. Mother energy is the most powerful force on earth. Nothing can get in its way. And it’s everywhere. You don’t need to be a mum to have mother energy. It's a life force inside all of us.
This is the time for mother energy. We need it right now to design the world the kids will live in, and insist it’s made. So let’s get started. Let’s make a world for the kids determined by love, care and freedom for everyone. The stuff that matters.
